I honestly thought he had died in 2010 for some reason.

had a running gag thing about copping the Yaphet Koto sneakers...

the boxes looked like Yeezys... I thought it was a cool nod to a cool dude...

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Alonzo Mosley is one of my favorite characters ever. Also loved him as Smokey, Captain Gee, Harvard Blue, and Parker.

Also, what sitcom was that where his name kept being the butt of the joke? I’m hearing Jennifer Lewis scream “I don’t care if Yaphet Kotto came through that door!”.

It'd just so happened that I'd recorded a clip for an Instagram post from that movie 8 years ago. But the audio's too awful/quiet to post lol, I KNOW it was audible back then.

If you've seen the movie, it's when one of the other cops stops him at the funeral to ask where Friday (Pam Grier) is and he rapid fires this hilarious sentence about how she stole a hearse, of course, and can't be arrested and he just looks so disgusted anybody'd even waste his time to ask what Friday's up to.
