Doesn’t Julie’s daughter kind of prove some sort of progress? I Imagine they address their argument in this reunion and everyone owes him an apology but I have to think he changed how they think overall which is pretty amazing given this was 30 years ago

He was a senior while i was an incoming freshmen at Rutgers U. We served on the 100 Black Men of Rutgers at that time. Although me and my crew was some wild young bucks who thought we knew everything, Kev was always cool with us. Call us the "young bucks".
When i saw him on the show years later, i was shocked but not really. His persona was exactly how he was when i knew him. Laid back and chill but focused on making a difference somehow.
Haven't watched this video yet but im glad dude went out and made a name for himself, from Vibe magazine on to today..

Back in the day I use to watch the original show just for Heather B. but liked Kevin & Eric as the show went on, everyone else not as much, but I think the creators and production crew knew what they was doing when they edited the show day after day, and how they kind of geared the cast in different situations.
Kevin & Eric were the only ones who was using the show as tool for their gain, while the rest was there just there to have a good time; I still see how that preview of the reunion was trying to bring up old stuff with Kevin being woke & shit but they really should've left that shit alone.

I found him very boring and dogmatic when he was on the show. Like yes, all of these people are racist but is that all you do? Years later, we got him to speak at my college and he discussed his growth. Dealing with his trauma and issues the women. It was a really great talk.
Its nice to see Heather B. It’s wild that they’re 50. I was like 12 watching the first season with my sister. Time goes so fast.

and Chappelle show nailed what we all felt as far as how they always found a way to kick the Black person off the show.
