i think maybe daft punk as a concept is done but I can see them continuing the production work
future cut did a similar thing - after 15 years of DnB, they went into making pop music, then after making a lot of hits and money they came back to DnB.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

I think when you're not sure whether a group is still together, it's usually because there's one member who's ready to move on and do other things but doesn't want to be the one that officially killed it. It may not be bad blood but you can kinda sense the disagreement.
This sounds like they're on the same page.

...it's kind of laughable that they just announce to the world that they are breaking up, especially when these two kats have been making music together and separately under their own names and various aliases, it's not like most of the EDM community really takes this info seriously.
I'm surprised they have been doing it for this long, most edm groups and duos don't stay as a group long, cause usually their sound grow apart from one another over time; like a few said in here, I think it's a publicity stunt, they will announce a reunion within a year or two.
