i think at least.

been working with an officemate again and its messing up my music listening. usually i wear some over-ear headphones all day with minimal issue. since theyre back it gets uncomfortable by lunch time.

i wear glasses and im wearing a mask all day since were both in the office. at some point my ears start hurting. im guessing the clamp of the headphones over the glasses and mask strap irritate it.

tried earbuds yesterday and this morning. after about an hour i have to tap out. they just start itching. ive never been a big fan of earbuds. shame because it is much easier to remove my mask to take a drink of water with earbuds vs headphones.

Still tho, considering these prices I'mproud of you man. I don't even see 9mm avaialable anywhere. It's nice to have a bunch more so one can actually go hit the range.

You get extra magazines yet?

shit is crazy. But, yeah...200 ain't a lot. You can blow 100 rounds in one range session, EASY. I try to keep 500 plus, range rounds...but, I do go to the range, fairly often.

I smoke weed every day like nate dogg said to do.

And...the best. Like...all day.

I could stop. I do detox periodically throughout the year. To me, it's a sacrament.

The fact I'm able to function coherently at a high level is...well...amazing.

Yeah. I'm amazing to myself. Death to false modesty.

Like...I'm high right now. Duh! You can tell tight? But if you were on front of me or worked with me you'd have no idea. Lol!

I was once just like that, and that feeling of high and capable quickly turned into mania.
In retrospect it all felt the same. It was always I can do this and also do anything, and then I felt more creative, and more empowered, and then one day I had a “great idea” and I felt even better about myself. And it all came CRASHING the fuck down like the house of cards it was. Just like beer can make you feel tougher while also making you weaker, weed can make you think you’re doing great while actually falling all the way apart.

So please. Be careful.

"call me when you hear this"

now that we have a new phone system i get an email with the voice message. i swear he only calls when i step out of the office.

but yeah if i see a missed call on my office phone then im going to call back, no need for that voicemail.

im not even sure if i have voicemail enabled on my cellphone. i dont answer most calls to it if its not from a contact. pretty much only if i recognize or think i recognize the number.

If I'm making a person call, as rare as it is, and they don't pick up, I'll send a quick text explaining why I called and specify whether I need them to call me back, text me back or if no response is even necessary.

Thinking of times I've made a phone call it's usually due to needing to get some kind of info from someone that is necessary in the moment but meaningless in 5+ mins, so I call to liken the chances they'll see me reaching out. Example: I'm at the store and forgot exactly what X asked for. I'll call X, if they pick up they can tell me, if they don't I'll just go with my best instincts. But in 5 mins I'll already by out of the store and on my way home, so a response is meaningless at that point, so I'll follow up my call with a text saying as much.

i cant think of one scenario where calling someone 9 times will be beneficial if they didnt answer in the first 8 times you tried lol

for most people i will text them for almost anything. if its something that is time sensitive i might follow up the text with one call. if its an emergency then i might try reaching them through someone else.

not sure i would leave a voicemail and i wouldnt try calling them more than once.

for business/work stuff, definitely leaving a message.

for personal, I might leave message depending on who it is. Sometimes I'll follow with a text if I feel more urgency about it.

I don't call a bunch of times. when people do that to me, I'm annoyed and not calling them back.
