Bruh's body just completely betrayed him. How you do a successful dunk one minute then your body just says “Hail fuckin naw, we’re not doing 2 in a row!”?

...from pushing off to jump. Knee or ankle. Also strained calf or hamsrring muscles.

I'm imagining your video is a bit worse than a torn tendon tho.

Probably would've broken my arm too if it weren't for the fact that I'm like half his weight and was jumping into shallow water.

Still felt dumb as hell every time I coughed or laughed for weeks afterwards.

I got tired of small injuries everytime I started a new workout.

Also the genre of basketball "influencers" is weird to me.

"In the clip, which is embedded above and can also be seen here, shows Segura explaining the adrenaline rush and excitement he was feeling before attempting to dunk a basketball. Segura was holding the basketball in one hand as he moved toward the basket.

As he starts to lift his arm into the air, he slips on the court. His right foot sails out in front and his entire body flies off the ground before he slams back down onto his left arm and back. Segura almost instantly rolls onto his side and his left arm is very clearly resting at an abnormal angle. Another person shifted Segura’s arm back to where it is supposed to be as they called 911."

Where on the replay it looks like they didn't even move an inch. And they go down like Casper came through with the sniper rifle. But somehow they've torn their ACL, MCL, and PCL.

he must've been super anxious to dunk that ball .. but how did he hurt his arm tho?

so many questions...

before I clicked this, in my mind I'm thinking "he at least made it to the rim".. In the first few seconds of the video, watching him talk (I have the volume low) with his left hand and wrist cased up, I'm still thinking "he at least made it to the rim"

before you know it, in a blink of an eye, he was down

I guess he didn't make it to the rim

>Because I still play pick up ball in my mid 30s

most normal humans couldn't re-create that if I tried it 100 times. I played pickup ball into my 40's with dudes older than me and I've never seen anything remotely like that. I don't feel like investigating but its hard to believe its real. Most old guys jump like Jokic and are normally less likely for serious injury than younger more athletic guys.
