Best year ever for boys..

Video games were dying in 1983 which allowed more focus on action figures and playsets.

GIJOE (this was the year they made the elbow & knees bend)
STAR WARS (return of the jedi specifically)
HE MAN (nuff said)

I believe this was the year Voltron first appeared as a toy in the US.. it was a year before transformers dropped in 84 and took over.

i mean I asked to be called Prince Adam. But Transformers was the game changer for me. I didnt watch or fuck with GI Joe much. But Transformers and Voltron was IT.

Making little forts and bunkers out of sticks and rocks. One dude fell in some water and got frozen overnight. Whole next day adventure was rescuing him. Good times.
