His death affected me in an interesting way. Maybe 'what could have been?'. Maybe me realizing that I liked so many of the earlier albums due to his verses. Maybe that SO much has happened this year, his death didn't get.....idk.

Even if we put aside all the craziness of 2020, the way the news of his death was morphed into something entirely was pretty shitty.

At the time I used to like Thought way more, but slowly over time I think I like Malik B's verses more. Thought has some great solo songs though. Making me wish Malik was on more of those or had more solo tracks.

Loved their chemistry.

I started appreciating how unique of an MC he really was without being in left field.

It's weird. I've always like Thought more than Malik. But there are more lyrics from Malik that stick out in my mind.
