I’ll admit I was low key disappointed seeing Michael K Williams in a minor role as a drag queen. Does dude get typecast now? I would think by the time this film was made he would have been able to pass on this role. I guess Chiwetel and Anthony Mackie were that “that’s all you bruh!”

on the strength of I like all the folks that were in it. Mr. Ejiofor is one of my favorite actors. I was lightweight confused when I got an alert Friday, saying now on Netflix...cuz the joint is almost 5 years old. I felt like it had already been on Netflix. I enjoyed it...but, I dig this little lane of cops and robber type movies. Triple 9, Den of Thieves, 6 Underground, 21 Bridges (hits different now).

For some reason I'd never heard of (or don't remember hearing of) this flick back when it came out.
There were a lot of good performances turned in for this one, but the storyline seemed rehashed from other movies.
And, yeah, that Mickael K. Williams role was very much so a WTF moment. It added nothing to the movie, the story, the character, or anything else. Shit like that is the reason people say there's an "agenda".
