I was teaching remotely, so that was my lone nod to civilization's shitty demand that I wear pants while I work.
But it meant that three showers a day was the best way to balance things out.

I ordered them before the lockdown started because I just wanted some overalls. Stuck in my house with nothing to do, the appeal of wearing pants that supported themselves on my shoulders just kept growing.
I guess the slightly more normal part of this story is that I'd been telling myself, and anybody dumb enough to listen to me, that my daily work schedule and commute was keeping me from working out as much as I want. That was probably just a rationalization, but it was one I'd used for so long, to so many people, that I felt like I needed to put my money where my mouth is and I actually started running again - a lot - during this work-from-home period.
The results were that I lost a bunch of weight but didn't quite trust it enough to buy new clothes, so the overalls were pretty helpful. And working out a lot meant showering a lot.

if I know my morning is going to be hectic I will shower the night before..
but generally, I like to shower before I get dressed.

10. "When I was going into the office, every morning" In response to Reply # 0
Nowadays it's usually afternoon or evening after my run if I go for one that day. Never more than one a day though.
Showers used to be half about cleaning myself, half about waking my ass up. Now that I don't have to commute to work and can sleep in later I don't need to worry about the latter.

since ive been mostly still coming into the office ive stayed with the same routine, mornings. basically i like to shower right before i need to go somewhere. so weekends might be a bit later in the day.
i definitely need a shower to wake up during the weekdays. i cant imagine trying to go to work without showering first. i am considering doing both though, before bed and in the morning. the reasons for taking one before bed are quite logical.
if you take multiple showers in a day do you do a full outfit change each time?
16. "honestly i only know of one person who does lol" In response to Reply # 15
link from rhett and link (youtube). it was quite bizarre to find this out but im curious if there are other people who do the same.
im sure after working out your changing that clothes. if you only shower once a day you have to be changing your clothes...right? but if youre someone that takes 3/4 showers a day and its not because you work out...who knows. im curious lol

17. "Only thing I will put back on is PJ pants" In response to Reply # 16
but everything else has to be fresh and brand new.
How can anyone shower and put the same clothes back on? It’s prolly one of the reasons I didn’t work out and shower during work at lunch.

I'm not fully woke until I'm clean, so morning showers is a must and despite all the handwashing/sanitizing I do during the day it just doesn't feel right to get in the bed when I been in the street all day.
Come, I'll tear up all my poems for just a little piece of you...
25. "I shower daily, at night." In response to Reply # 0
it was said earlier, but I can't go to bed without it. I like showering, so I might be in there 25-30 minutes. gives me some chill time and I also cut my hair while I'm in.
morning showers don't work for me cuz I had to be quick, especially pre-covid. taking 2 kids to different schools and getting me to work at 8ish. and it lets me get a little more sleep.
I need a quick rinse off in the morning, just to get going. If I hit the gym mid-day, another quick rinse off. If I lather up, it's just the hot spots.
The mandatory shower is the evening one. That's the one with the soak, head shave and full lather.
