As far as pop culture dominance, the Addams Family definitely takes it. The influence of their 90s films cemented that for generations today, even.
Though, I recall watching The Munsters Today, the property's syndicated TV show reboot in the 90s also. Also, I will eternally love Fred Gwynne – Herman Munster from the original franchise – for playing the judge in 'My Cousin Vinny.'
Those 90s incarnations were my gateways into both properties. And even if I ignore the pop culture dominance, I think I personally favor the Addamses just a bit more, though I do love the Munsters.
