I never carry cash.... But I done had the same $53 in my wallet since March. I got nowhere to spend cash and I doubt I will anytime soon. Grandparents put cash in the kid’s birthday cards.....I kinda want to send it back and ask them to send Amazon gift cards instead lol.

Like if the banks collapsed or the internet went down for days I’m assed out.
Need to have a safe at home with a nice lil stack of cash just in case.

I got some out in early March for the weekend of the local music festival. I spent all of it except $25. And just like you, that same $25 is still chillin' in my wallet since March.

Usually, I have about 50 on me. Old country folk habit. Like JUST IN-CASE I need to cash for some reason. But yeah, I don't use a bunch of cash unless I'm getting work done at the house.
Sold some stuff and haven't gone to the bank to deposit money in a few weeks.
I try to keep some on me at all times - at least $80.
My grandfather told me that if you don't have any money in your pocket then don't go into a store or some place that you need money to justify your presence. He thought you're more likely to be "set up" or messed with when you have $0 cash.

Most of it in bills, plus three little jars full of change for laundry/whatever's in my pockets after a run to the grocery store or CVS.
During the quarantine segment of the summer I had some really generous takeout regulars that kept tipping big cash amounts and while I've touched it a couple times for things I just didn't want to see on my statement like excess smokes or weed or a random bar visit I've mostly let it just sit in a jar in case we ever have a 100% true shutdown and I need emergency rent/power money for one last month.

Just because they got cash from their birthdays that we haven’t put into their bank accounts yet. I rarely ever use cash, and especially not since the pandemic. The only time I normally get cash out of the bank is when traveling out of the country.
I had to borrow cash from my son the other day because we went to pick up lunch from this old school local deli that only accepts cash. I thought for SURE that the pandemic would have prompted them to finally modernize and take cards, but nope.
I started out with $80 during summer and it's dwindled down to $35. I normally don't keep cash at all, but being in a new state and city where I don't know anybody has encouraged me to have at least a little cash on me.
I find I spend it on shit I prolly shouldn't be purchasing, in an effort to feel less guilty about the purchase. Something to work on I suppose.
At some point I'll get a lil more, cause I feel like it's not enough walking around money, but for my current circumstances it's alright.

She has hiding places.
I think I’m going to start doing that or hide it in a TV like in Soul Food.
Always thought that TV hiding spot was ridiculous. How the fuck do you do that?
