At least once a week the group chat starts talking about some basic white woman, half the time it’s Republican and both of those shits are gross to me.
Is it etiquette for me to just sit it out or can I throw a wet blanket on bad taste every now and then? Because I think I hurt someone’s feelings.

Like I don't say much at all when it's just regular degular white women, not my thing ... But I feel like they set the pushback up when they bring in these particular women.

Other than some type of live sports chat room during a game, all of that is foreign to me.
I don’t put Zoom conferencing or work conference calls under the same criteria. And in those situations, everything is purely professional and work related.
Those types of conversations are taking place during a work group chat? Plus it’s recorded? That’s just inappropriate work behavior all on file waiting to be used against someone.

i know in my main college crew group chat (4 black guys incl myself), the 3 of us have historically dated all over. 1 married a british white woman. the other dating a indian chick i hope he marries. the 3rd only dates black. and im still playing the field myself.
