Not sure what to expect How are yall feeling?

I do get the sense that Biden needs to nail these more than 45 does. The bar is so insanely low for 45; I fear all he has to do is look/sound even remotely normal for some of these swing and/or disaffected voters to be like... is he really that bad. Especially if juxtaposed against an unconvincing Biden.

Furthermore, 45 has been aggressively campaigning, holding rallies, and throwing policy bones to constituencies he's trying to win over while Biden's been less forthcoming and visible (eg. https://apnews.com/article/election-2020-virus-outbreak-ruth-bader-ginsburg-delaware-elections-9282e7a189e965b124f1fc31c857903e). Pelosi in her infinite wisdom suggesting the Dem candidate forgo debating the incumbent altogether (https://news.yahoo.com/why-bother-pelosi-suggests-biden-211311456.html) actually made me wonder whether there's been rumblings among insiders that Biden's debate prep hasn't been going well Plus it made Dems look/sound weak. Wasn't helpful imho.

As for KH v. MP.. again, not sure what to expect. He handled Tim Kaine in '16 no problem. People keep pointing to KH's performances during various hearings and the Dem primaries but, tbf... is there anybody she's lobbed her zingers at that didn't end up sailing through nomination to get the job (including Biden)? I worry sometimes that people conflate entertainment value with actual effective takedowns. There's def a lot to challenge him on tho; a truly effective debater could destroy on multiple aspects of his record and ideology. I guess we'll see.

So I donno. I'll try to catch all 4 if I can. How about yall?

Any voter who says or thinks " is he really that bad" is not and never was a disaffected or swing voter.

Trump can do and say any number of stupid shit and it will only get tacked on to the long list of things that should be appalling but didn't move the needle. If he merely makes it through without a huge gaffe, people will say "Trump is finally acting Presidential!"

Any minor fuck up Biden has will be made into a huge deal. If he does a good job, hes only doing whats expected of him.

Its a trap. I guess I could see some swing voters coming over to Biden's side because they are probably looking for any reason to feel good about voting for him other than the fact he isn't Trump. But I think 99% of people know what box theyre checking in November already.

He's been clear, cogent, and demonstrated the ability not only to expound off-the-cuff on complex subjects but to explain them simply while providing needed context to other people.

To try and draw an equivalence between the two is either a function of dishonesty or ignorance. To try and cast Biden as somehow in decline above and beyond that of someone who was born in 1942 is patently ridiculous.

I'm 100% voting for the guy.. but you're not being honest with yourself if you think he's sharp as a tack. #1. He's definitely off. #2 the guy is a fucking creep. You've seen the videos, don't act like that shit is normal behavior.
