Big companies are doing okay through all this. Some even better than ever. But when I stroll downtown, I see for lease signs all over the place, stores/restaurants gone.

Trump is crowing about the stock market. It's one of his crowning achievements. But is that crowing going to work on regular folks?

Rich folks, at an institutional and personal level, are NOT feeling this pandemic the same way as everybody else. Not their pockets or their persons.

Mostly those without money in the market too.

People believe what they want to believe.

Americans are too invested in the American Dream. The American dream is what? Being rich and having your money make you money.


The American dream is to me the preamble of the constitution, not, get money and die rich. Its not a lotto ticket, its rights and fairness.

Americans do not see it that way.
