of not just them personally but the profession as a whole we dont even know what facts are anymore
these are people too
they understood full well he only had 4 years 4 years to band together in solidarity and give him what he was begging for
instead they chose to protect their careers, spending years breaking down his every word as if they weren't bold face lies
a big part of me is like FUCK them early on when he explored banning them from the White House they should of threw the towel in, NOPE. too busy trying make sure they were still on payroll
now imagine had the reporter he called on next asked the same question and the next and the next
i applaud the journalist that finally said it but fuck them man

Instead of teaming together, having a game plan as colleagues, backing each other up...
...they sit there and let journalists be disrespected, don't call out his lies in real time, and as this exchange illustrates...
They just let him pivot off of subjects he's uncomfortable answering
If he refuses to answer a question, or attacks the journalist asking the question
The rest of that room should have that journalists back by either repeating the question until it's answered, or calling out his lack or respect to his face.
Next question should have been...about those +20,000 lies you've told during your presidency

I only wish the reporter he then called on repeated the question.
I've seen it before with the WH press corps that sometimes as a courtesy if Trump is being a dick to a reporter the next one he calls they will yield part of their time back to the reporter that Trump tried to leave in the dust, I always thought it was the kind thing to do even if unexpected since everyone is trying to get their own questions answered for their stories...

I’m not giving the press a pass but it’s not like they didn’t “press” for answers.
Trump just closed up shop when the press went after him.
..and by going after him I mean asking him simple fucking questions and asking for some accountability.
