"Our project managers are not good at managing projects"
Got an email request right now, for a meeting tomorrow at 2. 26 hours from now. And in that meeting I'm supposed to have 5 deliverables. That were just requested in the email.
1. I don't only work on this one project. 2. PM didn't even reach out to me before committing me to the deliverable 3. PM clearly doesn't understand the scope of the ask nor the time needed to perform the work or even where I am relative to what needs to be done.
And not related to this specific gripe but
4. She loses control of the scope and time of every one or her meetings and would be better served having smaller modular meetings.
I declined the meeting and requested a date of Wednesday and with the specific response that the timeline for that deliverable is too aggressive.
