2. "Was supposed to go to PA for a funeral yesterday" In response to Reply # 0
but then my wife’s grandmother died so we have to pay our respects on Friday.
My fam in PA is having a celebration for my dad in his birthday this Saturday. Finally got a headstone for him. I won’t be able to make it.
I’m a bit frustrated at my family for having a celebration for my dad during a pandemic. Everyone keeps asking if I’m coming while also telling me to stay safe because covid cases are rising in NC. The fuck you having a celebration with all our elders if that’s the case? Smh.

When I lived in Philly it felt like Pittsburgh was in a totally different state.
I legit forgot some of the laws like buying a six pack in a bar. I used to hike 3 blocks past 4 bars to buy beer from the lil Asian corner store.

4. "so apparently foot handles for doors are a thing" In response to Reply # 0
a few weeks back we had a positive covid case at work, since then they started leaving a lot of doors open.
a week ago they installed a plate at the bottom of the bathrooms doors. i didnt know what it was, figured it was a way to keep the doors open. thing is since they installed them they closed the hallway door to the bathrooms.
then yesterday a dude was walking out of the bathroom and i saw him kind of kick the door open towards him. i thought, thats dramatic. lol thats when it hit me, theyre for opening the door with your foot.
i can see these being a thing for a while for accessibility but i had not noticed them before. havent tried it yet, feel like thats an easy way to be embarrassed if you fail.

and I don’t really like them.
I like the idea of them tho but I like my shoes too much to use them.
I wish all bathroom doors pushed out but I think some states have codes so you have to pull them open.

16. "People get real funny over money during a funeral" In response to Reply # 0
My sisters dad passed away and now her aunts are implying she might not be his..
because they want his benefits since she is next of kin and he was a vet.
People can be so disgusting when it comes to money.
