I don’t think Bubba Wallace has anything to do with this but I definitely wonder if NASCAR ran with it before checking videos to see if it was legit.
Again, it might be some real shit but it also makes us look like we are overplaying our hands if it’s something that was there all along.

that's 100% a garage/bay door pull. common in warehouses all over just because its effective

I think the thing that gets lost and glossed over here is the immense amount of pressure Bubba Wallace is under. All black folks can attest to this too......being first of being other or speaking up while being different carries a huge burden with it. A crew member saw it and reported it.
NASCAR took it seriously and reported it and backed up Bubba.
FBI did the investigation.
Not sure what the problem is.
Seems to me the only issue is that NASCAR could’ve done more research before reporting it to avoid looking like it was a set-up and fake outrage.
But shit, people in this post didn’t even hear the whole story before jumping to conclusion so fuck y’all complaining about.
Never liked the sport myself but my kids have gotten into it and I’m happy with the stance they’ve taken. Sure, they should’ve done this a long time ago but it’s never too late to make the right choice so I applaud them for standing behind Bubba and I applaud him for driving a #blacklivesmatter car and wearing a I Can’t Breathe face mask knowing that their fan base is what it is. Also applaud the other drivers standing up the way they did with the commercial and changing some of their cars sponsors for the cause.
Any step in the right direction is a positive to me. We are at a critical juncture with good momentum. We are pushing for change in every area possible so there really is no time for splintering and pushing unnecessary hate towards someone like Bubba and NASCAR when they have been making strides. That’s the reason why shit never works because we end up fighting each other instead of keeping focus. Damn. Smh

I read they had some sort of video/photo evidence it really was there back then, I didn't see proof but if we go off of that what's the devil's advocate move?
That they refashioned it once they found out Bubba would be in that garage?
If that's the answer why was it there in 2019?
In anticipation that he might be in that garage or at the track in general (which for the record is a totally possible explanation)?
devils advocate i guess is that the same rope was being used in october but not tied as a noose originally. someone tied it in a noose by the end of the weekend. the noose stayed perfectly clean past that weekend and until june of the following year. it was the only garage in all 29 of nascars racing facilities with a noose tied like that. and nascars only black driver just happened to end up in that specific garage on the weekend following his public elevation as a #blacklivesmatter supporter and his vehement calls for the banning of the confederate flag from all nascar events.
lol maybe real life is just stranger than fiction.
