Think about the statistic I often cite on here.
In the last 4 years, 1,662 black men were killed by cops while 69 black women were shot and killed by cops.
Black men are half the black population, yet an astronomical number of us are incarcerated, so a little less than half of black civilians feeling their life has been endangered by police is actually spot on.
When I say black men feel that pressue even if we don't know the numbers, I'm not just saying that. It's very real.

ANd that shit is terrifying!! And all I did was try to reach for my Registration and car insurance out of my glove box. Broad daylight on Broad street in Philly because I Made an illegal left turn. That cop(He was actually black too) was BUGGING!!!

but at 46 my fear of level isn’t nearly as high.
Maybe I’m delusional or maybe I’m just so occupied with my family that I don’t gauge cops the same attention I used to.
