"Bishop TD Jakes moment" Sun Jun-14-20 11:38 PM by c71
The strange times that we live in has many sure that this is a moment that the protests won't fizzle out like much of the other protests of the past (remember Occupy Wall Street?).
So.....
It seems that whoever has "stature" is also "on the spot" about how they will "step up"
So....
Since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was the last substantial African-American leader (President Obama led the country but was a figurehead to African-American people mainly), it is not surprising that Bishop TD Jakes is being looked to for how he will "step up" now in a "similar" manner.
TD Jakes even got some definite nudging from a prominent Associate Pastor in his own Potter's House Dallas church. Dr. Cynthia James on the Wednesday 6/10/20 Bible Study "The Middle Man" seemed to be explicitly stating how this moment sparked by the killing of George Floyd is leading to a "middle man" who can get results for the people - which seemed to show Dr. James was "sure" her pastor Bishop TD Jakes would "step up" in this particular time.
Bishop TD Jakes in his 6/15/20 sermon "It's all about the stones" brought up Moses, Joshua, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Civil Rights generation, The BLM generation, etc. He said at one point that people are calling him with pointed ideas/suggestions of what he should be doing in this moment (which he seemed not too happy about - he said they should be asking what they should be doing themselves).
So...
I think it is interesting that if things are going to "progress" at this point then anyone who does have a position of prominence like Bishop TD Jakes is going to be looked at for what he or she is going to do in this particular time.
This post is mainly about how it seems clear that things are pointing to people of prominence in some degree (not 100% on them) and it seems interesting to see how that will work out (whether it is Bishop Jakes, or President Obama, or Oprah, etc.)

A person like that is controlled and force to compromise.
