"It’s Gonna Rain"

Heard this on HBO the other night and it brought back memories. The Chorus was so gangster on this. Didn’t really care for the verse but the chorus and breakdown?

Love some gospel music.

Like...as much as music moves me, NOTHING moves me like some good gospel.

I can only handle a few songs before I tear up.

I had to attend a funeral, yesterday. My pops' best friend, since high school. They been through EVERYTHING together. I've known dude my entire life. The soloist sang "His Eye is on the Sparrow". By the time she got to "why should my heart feel lonely...", I was DONE.

I don't care what you think about what they are saying...if you love MUSIC?? Gospel songs have some of the best arrangement you will hear. Take a song like, Total Praise...nothing is seeing that last minute of "Amens".

vocals? CHECK. modulations? CHECK. arranging? CHECK.

No coincidence that many of the greatest singers started in the church
