"WE need an organization running background checks on cops. Our shit."

We need to know which cops have white supremacy ties. The govt might ask the question on the app but mfs be lying. It shouldnt be hard to pull a list of every cop working in every precinct. And start runnin them checks like twitter niggas do but better. Run a check on em like the FBI does when you sign up. Check out they friends and family. Everyone is online at this point. We need to know who these people are working in our neighborhoods since they arent required to live there. A whole cop database.

Side note.

Real community policing would shut down brutality to a point. If a cop is required to live in the area or w/in a small radius of where they work, they wouldnt be beating on people. With the risk of seeing mfs at the gas station, they would act right. More cops living in the community would also bring down crime. etc.

The Black cop lived on our street and we played in front of his house because it was right across the street from our friends house.

He was the cop who would come and diffuse any situation involving a white cop. He was also the designated driver for a few of the town drunks. Someone would get drunk, get into a fight at the bar and they could call him and he would drive them home and that would be the end of it.

This was also back in the day when cops would stop by with baseball cards and before cops were shooting before asking questions.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

these mfs be killing us, getting off , and getting hired in another department.
example. Tamir Rice. that cop was fired from another police dept. then he got a chance to kill Tamir at another spot.

....that goes for everything from excessive use of force to DWI's (they tend to like driving drunk) ...and when they get fired, they DON"T just get rehired in the next town over like a pedophile catholic priest. They should be blackballed from any civil servant jobs going forward.

Also, No more suspended with pay during investigations.. thats just vacation to these assholes.

Finally.. If they turn off their body cams, that is admission of guilt and they're fired.

The fact that even most local citizens can't find out which cops are fucking rotten and which are OK is mindblowing. And they fight it tooth and nail. They want zero oversight and they've historically gotten it.

Also agree with LABeat & legs' ideas above.

Rice situation. Dude had basically been fired from the next town over for not being fit to be a cop then went to Cleveland got hired and they didn't even check.

The hard part is most local police are under local jurisdiction and that would have to change first and I'm not sure how that would work. The states' somewhat independence from the federal govt is the only thing keeping DT from doing what he wants to do now.

And that sounds great but the problem is in most large metro areas they have trouble finding enough local people who actually want to be police so they have almost have no choice but to go outside.
