"Is this new? (i.e. white folks causing mayhem during black protests)"
Is this allies going overboard?
Subterfuge by the right and police?
Opportunists (anarchists) from the extreme left?
Antifa?
Any and all of it could be true (and political leaders in Minnesota have said all of the above plus foreign actors) but the protests over the last week certainly have a different flavor due to large scale overt and covert participation of white people.
I've always suspected the sabotage aspect but there wasn't much reliable evidence in the protests that turned into riots in recent years. White participants would stand out like a sore thumb in Ferguson but maybe nobody really paid attention to them.
I only recently started considering the part that the extreme left could be playing; the way anarchists use demonstrations against globalization as cover to bust up Starbucks and J Crew storefronts could be at work here too.
And there are always people just looking to create a little mayhem in any crowd.
But what's really going on on the ground during these protests, uprisings and riots? If you've participated in them, have you felt the presence of groups that had ulterior motives?

their stance is anti-capitalism, anti-establishment.... and the destruction of property that belongs to the state and/or corporations is one way they have always used to fight their cause...
but one thing that is becoming crystal clear, is that white liberals who have forever felt a moral superiority to their right-wing couterparts, have MAJOR blindsides they need to compensate.... when u act like u r fighting for Black People without consulting with Black People... that is some quasi-liberal/socialist paternalist bullshit.... and it is in effect, detrimental to our collective efforts as a people...
as for the white supremacist angle, i dont have enough info to conclude to a planned agenda by them.... but i could see them using that strategy

breaking these windows is furthering black people's cause.
I saw a video this morning of a local from DC trying to stop a bunch of folks from building a bonfire downtown yesterday. Some white dude from VA jumped out the crowd, talking about global economic machine this and that and it just rubbed me the wrong way. Police aren't going to profiling HIM when things return to normal.

>in the confusion. > >That’s why I’ve never liked people’s need to “road >trip to protest” even before corona. > >I think someone in here made a post about “on my way to >Ferguson” and folks got mad when I asked why lol
But I'd be hesitant to just go include myself in someone else's protest if I didn't know the objective, the tactics, etc and they didn't call for me. I dunno how it truly works but there's nothing stopping anybody from just jumping in the fray.

The Turner Diaries was published in 1978. The book and its author was key inspiration for the one the 2nd worst terrorist attack (legally defined) in US History with the bombing of the federal building.
They just change the slang but it is still the same as it ever was because white nationalism is inherently fascistic and fascism depends on the elimination/subjugation of people's deemed inferior.
So they haven't changed. The world around them has much to their advantage.

>talking about this civil war AKA boogaloo? > >These protests are the first I've heard about this
The whole Hawaiian shirt bend to this nonsense reminds me a ton of that whole Proud Boys BS. I wonder if the two are related.
If I conflated the two, my apologies.
I only learned about this through some tweets of folks that broke this down. If I was able to get info on this nonsense through twitter, I would imagine the FBI/other intelligence agencies have much much more info on groups like this. It's a crying shame the White House isn't acting on this information overtly. I only hope folks in various intelligence agencies in the US are looking out for black/brown folks out there in that regard because I have the feeling things can get messy. It's a bit too easy for folks to take advantage of the chaos that is apparent these days.

Said he sees no systemic racism in American policing and attended college in Apartheid South Africa and speaks fluent Afrikaans.
Also, the Republican controlled Senate cute 'white nationalist' out of the National Defense Act they sent to Trump to sign last year. The amendment that contained the phrase was to address the white nationalist threat in the US military.
So, don't get your hopes up too high
