3) This gives his base the motivation to vote against the scary negros instead of voting against shitty policies that are killing people.

The breakdowns weren't recent tho. They were over the course of the past 5 yrs, mostly while these things weren't in the news, and everyone was calling me crazy, hotep or some other weird insult for my passionate defense of black men and boys. These things NEVER stop happening. Especially to black males.

According to Fatal Encounters:
From 2014 to 2019, 201 black women and 2,152 black men have died in police interactions.
(that figure adds up to more deaths than there are days in the year EVERY YEAR for the past 5 yrs for black men)

This is ALWAYS happening. I remember the 2016 election year when people were saying "something has to change" and FOR A SECOND, people started to sound like me. It felt good that people were "waking up" concerning police violence and really changing their perspective, and how serious they were about it. People were talking LIFESTYLE change. But I've learned it's right back to normal after this. People will care as long as the news is SHOWING it to us. Black men are dying like George Floyd died either every day or every other day. That's what weighs on me. Not just Seeing it on an election year.

Black men never tripped about that or made it a male thing. We talked about police violence against black PEOPLE, but now you have Kimberly Foster and her ilk saying black men are PRIVILEGED for being KILLED and having 98% of the deaths ignored. Somehow 2% of our deaths is too much attention and we need more than 10% of black female deaths to be shown. This is the racist talk of the WKKK in the early 20th century. What are we even doing? Just insanity. It seriously depresses me to think about that. Like how we can fight so hard, care for our sisters, daughters, godddaughters, mothers, aunts, friends, and STILL have this pseudo-academic attack on us that carries to past information or empirical studies to back it up, because if it did look at these things, it couldn't survive. Black men remain the group you attack in order to gain proximity to white men and have your viewpoint heard, because an attack on black men has always been welcome in America. It's why they made Birth of a Nation in 1915 and called us rapists instead of men while we were still enslaved. People don't care tho. The truth doesn't matter to the "black men are trash" movement. And that, if I take in too much of it, is just plain depressing ON TOP of the fact that my life can so easily be taken at any moment with absolutely no repercussions. And EVERY GOTDAMN DAY, one of our numbers is up.

Those who did tho, it's not about concern for black people of either gender. It's about proximity to whiteness and attention... that's why they always talk about attention w/ regard to police murder.

Do you remember Terence K. Williams, the young black guy who now goes hard for Trump? He used to be just another guy on Facebook, trying to be funny. Then one day he did the video eating a piece of fried chicken in the camera, downing Africa, saying they live in huts and he doesn't wanna go back. Black folks called him a coon while WHITE PEOPLE praised him, called him smart and funny... all the things he always wanted to hear. They gave him the ATTENTION he wanted. This is exactly what happened when black women expressed frustration with black men. White people gave them the attention they wanted, because white people can weaponize that. White people don't support MeToo because they care about black women. They support it because it can be weaponized against black men to perpetuate false ideas of black men that white people created during the slavery. The white establishment always reward black ppl for things that bring about our own demise. Black women and men at odds = less black children and thus less black people.

But that's just my view of why it sticks. It's a narrative that mainstream white media embraces. They will never embrace our unity and calling THEM trash. It's just disheartening that ANY of us, men or women, would be so thirsty for white approval that we'd become staunch enemies of each other.

I mean, sure, as an oppressed people we all have stories of mistreatment from other black people. Our conditions create dysfunction. I've got plenty stories of mistreatment from black males and females alike. But giving up the fight for our healing BECAUSE we're broken is the most bassackwards shit ever. I mean I understand some frustration, but people are just so confused and weak now.
