He's not doing himself any favors stuntin the way he is, but he may have more than nine lives.
Everyone wants to comment about being a snitch and what have you, and in most cases that's laughable unless you're in that life.
And if you're not actually in that life, actually living by that code, it's nothing but posturing to look down on him for snitching. It's just an easy way to feel good about him/her/your self.
People with 9 to 5, square ass jobs, trying to make a generally honest living are shitting on him for failing to keep his so-called honor in the face of:
A. A life-ending sentence, and
B. To the detriment of fellow, proverbially dishonorable 'thieves'
I mean, who's the victim here? A bunch of people doing dirt, and one of them played dirtier. Who the fuck did he hurt, that didn't try to hurt him and/or other people anyways?
I get if his crew feels a way about him snitching. I get if others who are actually living that life feel a way about someone breaking that code.
But outside of those exclusive circles? Please. Calling him a snitch, rat, whatever is just comedy. We learn to mind our business out of fear of reprisal and/or loss of respect within our circles. We only attach that nobility to it as an afterthought, as a way to romanticize the practice and lionize ourselves for being supposed "stand-up guys".
If you're doing that dirt and enforcing that code, trashing him for being a snitch.
If you're making an honest living, and simply spitting an opinion in a way where the only dirt under your fingernails comes from your dusty ass keyboard? Please.
