not necessarily podcasts on black issues, just quality stuff hosted by us.
I recently discovered the Spawn On Me podcast (which covers video games), and it was so refreshing to listen to. I'm also into music (obviously), movies/the film industry, travel, art/design stuff. whatchu got?
one more thing: my biggest podcast pet peeve is the annoying psuedo-professional glossy voice many hosts use. automatic disqualification! hosts need to talk like normal human beings.

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/chappelle/id1151436460?i=1000452140086 If you like Chappelle, and want to know why woke-teppers should probably not listen to, and definitely not record and broadcast their thoughts on, comedy - this is an audio experience for you. As a Chappelle fan and found this so extraordinarily frustrating, I chose not to listen to Black women for 3 hours. As a result, my dick didn't get hard the entire time and all my fruit went bad, but I felt I'd made my point.
This one's not a hate listen, but it's not as good as the subject matter, but they're trying: Van Lathan and Jamele Hill are cliff-noting The Wire ep by ep. If you've seen and liked The Wire, the podcast is a nice reminder, but it's not comprehensive, which makes it frustrating.

These girls are black with "baby daddies", but speak properly while saying nigga 1000 times. It is so strange and makes me uncomfortable. But they do have good content.

He's an Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Cal State. He came across my radar when he interviewed Dr. Tommy J. Curry. I recently listened to the podcast where he touches on his views on The Photograph, which were interesting. It's on Youtube under his name.

I am curious because I like podcasts with a little polish. I have created podcasts and they can sound gritty amatuerish.
Still Processing is probably the most professional black podcast. Both speakers have great voices. They are a little too Caucasian sounding but I like their perspectives.

it's not an issue of polish — I very much want something that sounds professional and well put-together.
I guess another way to describe what I'm talking about is "plastic excitement."
hosts I like speak as if they're having a more-or-less casual conversation with a friend, as opposed to others who sound like they're putting on some kind of performance. I find it phony and annoying. doubly so with African-American hosts on bigger networks cuz they tend to play up their "blackness" and it gets into uncomfortable territory.
