on first listen a 4/5 means its good enough to listen to a few more times to see if it grows on me. probably wont turn into a song i love but probably a song that i like and wouldnt skip. 4.5 i might love with more listens, it might also drop down to just like. 5 are songs i loved on first listen but those do sometimes drop to 4.5 or 4 after more listens.

i might come back to it a bit more. songs from it havent come up much when listening to my 2020 playlist. i was a bit tempted to make a few more of them 4.5

I was mad when Madhouse did it and it does this album a disservice

It also didn't help that the first 3 songs are damn near unlistenable.

But 12.38 somehow jumped in my youtube music random mix and immediately struck me as an update of Ballad of Dorothy Parker in a good way.

19.10 is cool.

24.19 is cool as well.

32.22 unlistenable.

35.31 is fine as an interlude.
39.28 is fine as an interlude.
42.26 is one of those summer songs from last summer (but not the better one, why isn't that song on here?).
47.48 is the best track on the album and is as good as anything in his catalog.
53.49 is trash.

So 3-4 good songs and the rest is meh like folks described.

I hope Childish hasn't reached the Kanye stage in his career where he thinks he can throw out half baked works and he is such a genius it will be great.

I am thinking, based ont the song titles, that this was just some unfinished stuff he just wanted to put out as a mixtape type project.

If so, I agree, best track on the album, I wish the rest of the album was as great as that song was.

This album randomly coming out with the number titles and very little promotion made me wonder if it was released to fulfill a record contract or something, because it gives me those vibes...
