>PRACTICAL: >- how much supplies to have on hand, tips for provisioning, >prepping, info on how to manage work from home, school >closings, business impacts, etc.
Starting last Friday, I really started stocking up. Already had TP so I didn't have to worry about that. Freezer is now full. Got pasta and beans. Got batteries, Advil and Tylenol, and detergent (that was the toughest thing to get). Wife wants to get some soup just in case, but we on-the-under spot was tapped yesterday. We know when the shipments are coming in over there, so we're planning according.
>PLANNING / POLICY: >- impact on the economy. how long will the impacts be? where >are the opportunities gonna be? what resources are available? >strategies for navigating the downtime
Wife and I are both good on that front. I work in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry, so my job isn't going away. Especially with where things are headed on the job. Like, people are still going to have diabetes during and after this whole thing, so I'm secure. Wife is a lawyer, and her firm has plenty of business moving forward (even though it's small).
I have enough shit to keep me busy. Like I said below, I check in three times a day, and I'm about to get an assignment that going to keep me busy with busy-work for a bit.
Plus, i need to schedule time to do my freelance article writing. I'm a bit behind.
>SELF-IMPROVEMENT: >- learn something? health goals?
I just need to make sure I get outside and walk. I have two dogs and they're apt to drive each other crazy. Long walks around the neighborhood are probably in order.
>NETFLIX AND CHILL: >- good series to binge, etc., books to read
Man, I'm still backed up on my DVR. Plus to much shit to watch on NetFlix and Prime and Hulu. Probably time to jump on Narcos Mexico.
>OTHER:
I really should take a shower tomorrow.
