who herself was a derivative of old jazz singers and some of those gravel voice motown singers.

these newer singers copied the smokey throat and brown liquor slur but forgot the actual talent part.

I never wanted to be that guy but dang, there's so much cussing in singing now. man Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey last joints they was cussing in songs. ain't nothing cornier than a so-called legend cussing trying to sound like the kids
