"Poll question: Jeopardy GOAT Tourney...who you got?"
Thu Jan-09-20 08:17 PM by PimpTrickGangstaClik

Meant to make this Monday, but it slipped my mind.
Two games down (one currently in progress). James(1), Ken(1), Brad (0)

I came in riding with Brad since he always comes out on top in tourneys. But he's struggling the first two episodes. Slower on the buzzer, missing daily doubles. I hope he can turn it around.

I never thought I'd say this, but 1 hour is entirely too much Jeopardy lol.

Poll result (6 votes)
James Holzhauer (2 votes)Vote
Ken Jennings (3 votes)Vote
Brad Rutter (1 votes)Vote

but these nerds are entertaining as my wife said. It's been great. It's a two man game though. Ken and James are on another level.

But I've always been a Ken fan.

A guy like me should be on James's side. But James is an asshole.

Ken has been shockingly good so far. Beating James at his own game despite being like 20 years out of practice. I didn't expect him to be ready.

It's been such a high-drama show so far, it almost seems set up.

And he won we over. I think he should replace Alex when the time comes.

Ken knows more than James now he's employing James' style where appropriate and he's winning this thing. I don't think the way James plays ever dawned on Ken but know that he has seen it...and like they say, the greats always steal.

But to your point - I was thinking about who should replace Alex when it's time and I never thought of Ken but of all the people I did think of, he trumps all of them. Also, i think that would make most Jeopardy fans happy because he's pretty beloved by that community. Plus, despite his lack of general TV work history that might be found if you dug for a host from more traditional sources, he's been on Jeopardy so much that he would understand how the show works behind the scenes as much or more than anyone else they'd find.

His appearances on Doug Loves Movies got me to like him.

I haven't listened to his podcast with John Rodderick, but I'll probably check it out this weekend.
