There were a few others that had me wondering how bad things are in Texas... lol.
Ain’t nothing wrong with appreciating the physical.

I didn't even know who she was until I clicked the IG link. if she's crossing your timeline constantly because people are busy telling you how bad she is...you ever count up how much time they spend talking about her vs. other stuff?

forgiven her father's killer. her dad's body cold in the morgue, along with the killer, and she on tv saying "i forgive him and my father would have want me to do that, blah blah blah".
Christianity has such a diabolical hold on the black mind, I'm surprise it hasnt nearly wiped us out.
2020 is going to show a whole lot of black ppl forgiving their white killers.

it's great seeing everyone's posts about how much progress they made the past decade its hard for me to do the same - i do have some achievements (hello, phd) but these have come at such a huge financial (and emotional) cost it makes it hard to look back and be like *win!* its also hard to look forward to the coming decade - given that I will spend most of it working to pay debt not necessarily building equity so i definitely want to spend the next few days working on my next 10 yr goals but most will be defined by *the debt* and trying to get to financial security adulting sucks.
. http://perspectivesudans.blogspot.com/ i myself would never want to be god,or even like god.Because god got all these human beings on this planet and i most certainly would not want to be responsible for them, or even have the disgrace that i made them.
i feel like im barely getting in a position to start paying off debt. unfortunately some of it might be catching up on me and it has started to hit me in my credit score. thankfully my income is at a healthy level. its going to take me a few years to get in a good position and seriously considering building equity.
>i feel like im barely getting in a position to start paying >off debt.
is the hard part. my credit score is excellent... and i am looking forward to having a more secure/regular income stream (while consulting, lol) so its not all downstream. but literally the only thing i can say about this decade is - i will be paying back debt the only question really is how much progress i can make toward that goal that's not exactly the most exciting thing to look forward to.

Finding a nice gig is first and foremost.
Next, If possible get a short forbearance right before you try to get a home loan. That way it won’t be used against you when you look for lending.
Then set up a realistic repayment plan based on income or work for a nonprofit.
Ionno, I still owe a nice chunk but I recently read an article that made me sleep better at night.
As long as you use your education to make bank there isn’t a reason to feel bad about the debt.
It’s not bad debt unless you join a circus or become a street artist.

I think I’m starting to get that feeling you get right before you close shop.
I wish they would move

Philly is like another planet to them because it’s so different.
They always talk about leaving but most never do.
Pittsburgh is a nice city IF you have your shit together but a lot of these people still live in small towns outside the city that don’t have much excitement.
So the white people I grew up with are on them drugs..
the Black people, depressed and still living that Steel Mill bar life.

No matter what happens in the city, it's always a corrupt dangerous shithole that they can't wait to get the fuck out of. But they never leave, or even explore other parts of the city. City's changing all around them and they keep on with the crack era type complaining.
Starting to change my perspective on gentrification.
