He did the same thing with Fergie. How the hell does she sell so many records on a solo record and not have a follow up?
As far as not defending her. Well, like she said in an interview. She had a nice home to go back to while they had to go back to East LA. They sold out... sold out tours and records.
Will said of the last album on their deal didn’t pop they would get dropped. He made sure they went all the way pop.

He made sure they went all the way pop. this is literally selling out. the label told them they needed to change their sound and they did. i wouldnt put myself above doing the same if i was in that position so im not knocking them. what i wasnt aware of is that this was due to a change of ownership/management in the label right?

But keep in mind every BEP member is signed to Will. So they all have to answer to him. He is the brains of the group.
and you damn right he sold out. Keeping it real is overrated. We all work jobs right? How many of us are keeping it real at our gigs?

would it be like 70% will 15% each apl and taboo?
none of them are great rappers. even though they have made music i love i can admit that. will is the talent. apl and taboo have cool styles and i dont cringe when they come on but i wouldnt expect either to have a successful solo career.
i think if will kept himself off the hooks he could produce a classic album with a great rapper.
theres no indication that bep got ghost producers or writers for any of their stuff right? they did that.

Will had a solo project. It flopped. That’s part of the reason Fergie never had a follow up album. Jealousy.
Taboo was working on a project. My peoples had him spittin’... Will walked in like “no,no,nooooo” Keep it simple so the fans can sing along.

do they keep their raps simple because of will? do apl and taboo have bars that could go against some of the best spitters out there?
i bought must b 21 and listened to songs about girls. must b 21 had a couple tracks i kept in rotation. i enjoyed songs about girls but the replay value wasnt there for me. not sure i listened to his other two albums.
i really liked the sergio mendes album will made.
i think will is one of the best producers out there.

Songs About Girls has a few joints.
If they went with Hearbreaker it may have led to a second single.

came home one day and there was a note taped to my mailbox. it said it was my usually usps carrier, they were off one day and the person filling in accidentally left a package at my house that was intended for someone else. to call the post office and left me two numbers that are not the post office's number. saying to ask for two different people.
i did not receive any package for anyone else so i just shrugged it off. was a bit suspicious so figured id just let it go. then a couple days later theres another note in my mail box saying to please call the post office about the package.
both notes were on the back of some pet salon flyer thats in the neighborhood.
i decided to go ahead and give the numbers a call today. the first one had a recording that said it was the post office and to hold. then just endless ringing. i called the second number and just endless ringing.
i then looked up the post office number and called it. same recording as the first number and again no answer.
did i just expose myself to a scammer? should i let it go? im considering leaving a note taped to my mailbox saying i did not receive any package.

i got two texts last week from a random number saying my parcel could not be delivered due to extra cost. it included a bit.ly link that i did not click since i did not have a package coming and figured it was a scam.

if it was an actual request by USPS i would expect the note to be on some sort of stationary. my first thought was that the worker did something shady and was trying to keep it under wraps. one of the numbers having a recording for USPS is confusing. they also left two names to ask for when i call??
the first note was left sometime last week. on sunday a postal worker took a package across the street while i was walking out to my car. i would expect him to wave me down if it was from them. i should have talked to him in retrospect.

What you wrote is the main reason it's still in the box three years later. I see I have to sign up for an account, but it didn't say where the data would be shared (if at all). If I can't, I'll probably get some cheap cameras and set up recording on my own server in the house on an old PC as an alternative.
The biggest thing for me isn't to look at my cameras live, but to have the footage in case I need to reference it for any reason.
