mugga fuggahs.. weekend is already exhausting me. friend in from out of town have to figure out if ish is going down tonight or tomorrow Shimmy's out every night and I'm having to bail on one or both of those deals cause my pal is coming through and my eldest also in from out of town late Sunday night to use my place as a hotel on their way out to their moms.
meanwhile I got one kid who is apparently struggling right now 'n I'm trying to get any info out of the guy I can so I can help.
then there's work.... but it's friday right so... let it be.

im going to mildly attack my garage this weekend. getting washer and dryer delivered tomorrow. i know theres some quick fixes i can do to get it looking reasonable. well see how much further i take it lol
payday today and i needed that!
listened to disc one of LWFC last night. man this pressing is beautiful. i forgot how much i loved this album. i feel dumb for questioning if i should buy it. need to get through a few more records over the weekend.
looks like its on sale right now, i think thats how much i got it for minus 10%.
the green is more translucent, the white disc is opaque. green was first disc. ive heard white/clear vinyl can sound bad so slightly concerned about it but i think it will be good. the center whole was really tight for some reason (whoa) other than that i very much enjoyed it and would recommend it.

looking around on the website made me want to buy some lol. i had previously gotten the slick rick from urban legends and it sounded good. i feel like buying from them should be a solid bet. i do have do you want more and eric b & rakims catalog from them that i need to go through. if any of them dont sound right ill let yall know.
i just saw that paid in full and i think follow the leader limited editions sold out. made me feel better about buying them.
i found out my go to local record store is moving locations in january. theyre planning to have a smaller location with popular stuff near by and an outlet for more niche used stuff. hopefully that outlet is actually priced accordingly. i will probably avoid the smaller location lol it makes me wonder if theyre going to have a moving sale though to avoid having to move all their inventory over. might stop by after work to take a look.

Messed around and went out Wednesday night..still paying for it.
The Kid is going to a teen night at the High (Art) Museum tonight..SHE has to work until 8ish, so imma try and get my Dj on a little bit. Prolly Ubering a little tomorrow..imma let them two do the Christmas decorations...nope..still not up. I'm not feeling Christmasey at all this year.
No other plans this weekend...just realized that...lol

i dont know man. just thinking back to those days makes me shudder. driving all across town to find that one toy that the store you went to didnt have. spending 15 minutes getting to the parking lot and finding a spot, same thing getting out of the parking lot. long lines. im sure i gained most of my weight due to these shopping trips lol

I just enjoy being out and about instead of home. I’m home all the time cause I got toddlers.

i remember going shopping on weekends was all we used to do on the regular. i dreaded having to go but once we were out there at least it was something lol

Actually going down the aisle and picking up extra stuff thats not on the lists, having the physical gift right there and watching the cash register add all ya shit up.
I can say this..shopping for teenagers..or one teenager aint as much fun as shopping for smaller kids..but it's a whole lot quicker, lol

this will be the third one since i lost my dad AND since my separation.
first one wasnt too bad, maybe shock. i honestly dont remember what i did last year. i think i visited mom both years so that might just be blending together for me.
staying in town this year but at least my brothers coming to town.
ive been switching between feeling down and starting to get the itch to decorate. didnt decorate at all the past two years.
as a whole i think im doing better about losing my dad but it will creep up on me here and there.
