"Who schedules a meeting at 9:00am in the morning at 7:00pm the previous ..."

My manager - that's who!

So it's my WFH day and he added no dial-in option.

Also 4 other people's WFH day.

And I know we have 2 people who come in at 9:15am and stay later.

This is why Friday does not rhyme with Fun Day.

Manager knows damn-well y'all weren't going to be in.

Personally, I'd skip the meeting and WFH as usual, but the again I don't have to worry about being written up or fired for missing meetings.

While my role is not directly critical to operations, I work on a team that handles a lot of systems that would stop this billion dollar beast in it's tracks if things were to stop working. Emails roll out all hours of the night. At this point I just check email on the phone to be sure no fires are burning. I'd-a-caught that shit and said "So, no go to meeting?"

I would do that when I worked from home... but since I commute now I shut it right off the moment I'm out the door.

I didn't attend the meeting (WFH) and since he had no dial-in number/Skype/Net Meeting I didn't attend in any way.

The meeting was actually for a good thing, but he's done this several times before.

So he's not trying to get anyone for anything - he's just bad at holding meetings.

We have folks who work from home 4 days a week - he has to keep them in mind.

It's just being inconsiderate and unprofessional - many people I work with do this too. It's the culture of the team/division.
