a friend passed of cancer yesterday... has dampened my spirits somewhat.. Shimmy's even more so...
this afternoon there's a big all team meeting I usually dial into it but just got an email saying we are all "encouraged" to attend in person and to email the boss if we can't. . crap.. last thing I want to do is crowd into a room chalked full of people for an hour and a half... I don't think I can manage it dammit.
the weekend... man who can think about that right now? ugh.

I'll be working on the house and music all weekend. Started working with one of the singers to get music together for her album. Went from the new guy to "hey, keys man... play something to get us started" real fast.

i have to find a way to get all ready for this trip tomorrow and get to sleep early. im thinking i might wake up at 3:30 am to make sure im not late to the flight.
supposed to get the 6 records i ordered from urban legends in today.
amazon shipping dates are all screwy. was expecting to receive some items on monday, now it says today. should be fine but its weird not being able to count on their dates. early is better than late in general.
vinyl me please is odd. looks like now i am getting aretha as my record of the month for december along with de la soul. this would mean i only have the january record left. didnt get a chance to swap out the aretha one, not really mad at getting it but i would have liked the option to swap. it might just be a glitch in their system. oh well.
some people said their copy skipped. if i got those extra copies i would open one, listen to it and if it skips open another until i find the amount of good copies i ordered. then return the rest.
i guess i picked a bad time to join vmp but i did want that de la lol
