"Anyone still use a pocket calculator?"


  

          

Saw a picture of one the other day and it brought back some fond memories.

Getting one with all the math functions, lol. I think they were the original geek gadget for me and many others.

It's helpful for quick calculations.

Only app on my home screen.

I occasionally think about getting one of the modern HP graphing calculators. I'm still all in on reverse polish notation. But it's probably easier just to use my phone.

My students, though, they all have calculators, especially in the intro and general audience classes. We don't allow cell phones in exams.
