That Vet poast is nice to see.. 20+ years.. and even though everybody left it's still home.
This weekend is an annual get together of friends on Satyrday... I often skip it but figure on going this year... no kids again.. they're all grown I guess.
Lot of changes coming to my job.. not sure what it'll look like in another 4-6 months... maybe it won't be that different... I don't know.. I'm getting too old for ridiculous pointless change for the sake of change. we'll see if they get it right.
Halloween was chill... almost too chill... tonight I don't know at this moment the ennui is strong with this one.

Still gotta clean, sand and paint the frame, and now it's getting chilly out. Need to get it done before it gets cold.
Also have to pull the drum set out of the basement and clean it up. Going to move it upstairs into my work room until I clean the basement up more (old-school exposed everything basement w/ mad dust & spiders).
Still want to see Joker, but I'd rather stream a bootleg while my lady wants to go to the theater.
Eagles game on Sunday. I've watched every game for the last four years with my homey. A tradition that just started one preseason and kept going.
Edit: Ran and got candy after work and not a single kid came knocking on the door. Maybe there is a neighborhood list that I don't know about, or my lack of decoration.
halloween...i watched bandersnatch and ate some fun size snickers, that counts as celebration right?
i got a couple of books last night. book of ryan and talking book by stevie lol. i hit up the record store after work and picked up the stevie along with hotel californa, about $13 each. book of ryan shipped from amazon. i had read some horrible stories of records coming in folded, dinged up and all loose from amazon. nope this came in a media mailer inside of another box with a couple other items. no damage.
havent listened to them but thats what the weekend is for right?
chill weekend ahead. cleaning, music, video games, tv. hopefully get my heater turned on lol

im just using a desk i have. it has a section for a full size PC with an adjustable shelf. i got it like half way filled up and have a little rack that can hold about 25 records on top of it. using it to hold the ones i want to listen to/new buys.
im probably going to buy something like a kallax when i move that i can put my turntable on.
i have the turntable on a night stand that doesnt go at all with the rest of my set up. i definitely want to replace it. the shelving units i have seen would have 4 spots that each could hold 50+ albums so i think that would be good for...uhm 2 weeks at the rate im going at lol. nah hopefully at least for a year before i need more storage.

if i wanted to use them as shelves and stack 2/3 up would it be sturdy? not have to worry about them knocking over or do i need to do something to keep them sturdy?
would a turntable fit on top of two of them side by side? would it be sturdy enough for that?
what im thinking of doing is having something that is 2x2 with the turntable on top one side of the tv and one that is 2 high by 1 wide on the other side of the tv. maybe 2x2 on both sides.
Just haven't been to an IKEA in over 15 years, so I haven't had a chance to check them out in person. Might buy a few of these if DIY options are too difficult.

spoke with my mother today. she said I need to lay off some stuff. she right then goes on to tell me, a kid I grew up with just passed away. mom: “he was your age”
I know all this.. ugh.. gotta friend passing currently... younger than me even.
ugh crap it's gonna be a thing at that outing tomorrow... I'm tired. and that does nothing for my nerves
plus work is a bit overwhelming and my mouth is still being beat on by the dentist... right now today I am beyond done but somehow I gotta eek out another 1.5 hrs.. I just want to peel my skin off, burst into flames and be done with it.
