back seems to be getting better. feel mostly normal today.
kind of went crazy buying records yesterday. i ordered the choosey & exile black beans finally. thought cool maybe ill order another one next week. after work i decided to stop by the record store.
got the self titled cypress hill in red vinyl (did not sound good), baduizm, mamas gun (both "respect the classics" reissues), then found original pressings of eagles greatest hits vol 1 for $13 and purple rain for $8. i havent listened to the badu records yet but i kind of wish i had not bought the cypress hill. it looks really cool but sounds so meh.
on my way to work this morning soul power came on and im seriously considering looking for a VMP pressing of electric circus. im already justifying it in my head because the prices i have seen have been low. then i think, well i cant own EC with out LWFC right???
im going to try to wait on them until next week at least just to have some restraint.

I throw TONS of shit into my cart on Discogs..and I let it sit there..if it's still there when I think I'm ready for it, I go ahead and get it. I think now, my lack of storage and all these Prince releases have slowed me down a little.
i got a little shelf, i think its supposed to hold like 30 albums. its meant more of a way to display the albums or make a queue. ive been storing them all on it. i had to make room in my desk to place some of the records since they all didnt fit on it anymore. the desk has a side cabinet with an adjustable shelf where they can fit perfectly. big sign that i need to slow down lol
i do want to get a couple of dedicated shelfs for records but i dont know when ill do that.
did you get the kallax from ikea or amazon? i dont have an ikea near me. maybe 4 hours away. it seems the ones from amazon aren't official ones..or are at minimum different than ones you can get at ikea. they also seem to come in damaged. i think i might just try to find something similar at target.
i would probably just want to get two 2x1 or 3x1. although i probably would want to be able to put my turntable on one of them so not sure if 1 wide would work for that.
so yeah blah. ill eventually figure out what to do about that.

Burn one, make a tea and then get to strumming. Music, exercise and gardening and big stress relievers for me. Anything that focuses my mind on one thing so that I can get into the zone.
Practice went okay. We gotta get more organized, in terms of having chord charts and keys for songs written down. I also found out that I can play by ear much better than I initially thought.

all weekend (okay for some moments) i was worried that i had missed a 3 hour meeting on friday. then i couldnt remember if it was the friday before last. when i tried to check my outlook it was asking to take over my whole phone so i just removed my account lol
when i got in yesterday i checked and the meeting is this friday. i was so sure i had missed it.

I usually show up for meetings.. and if someone ask me directly whether I'll be there or not I'll say whether I will.. but almost never accept the actual email requests.

no way i could keep that one to myself when i saw it.
been aggravated all morning. no real reason. i actually got to work early. i did forget my chapstick. did forget to put some water in the fridge last night. good thing i didnt forget to put one bottle in the freezer at least.
there was a car driving mad aggressively on the way to work. had me a bit on edge. coworker set me up with a visit from a vendor and that bugged me. was still kinda salty when the vendor came in lol officemate was having a real loud phone conversation.
so yeah no real reason, just a bunch of tiny ones i guess. need to change this mood though. almost lunch time so thats good.
i think the chapstick was the trigger. i mean i will go some days without using it but just knowing i dont have it on me got me on edge. then the drivers just amped it up.
thing is, my commute is always under 15 minutes so hard to complain about that, especially compared to yours lol.

one of the kids told me that if I sneeze with you eyes open, my eyes would pop out. I never thought about that...heard it. I make sure my eyes closed tho...
they (the boys) also mentioned how kids are vapin’ at the school the innocence in their eyes lol 6-7 graders growing up quick...

my kids almost all grown and I'm honestly wondering whether or not I will end up with any grandkids.. 5 kids between Shimmy and I you'd think one of them is likely going to have kids.. but these kids these days.. I don't know.. I have serious doubts.
onsite right now... got up early to be here for an early meeting.... the drive took 2 freaking hours tho so I was maaaaaaaaaaaad late... *groan*... horrible sleep last night... didn't eat dinner until like 11.. basically spent the whole night choking on heartburn.. sooo tired this morning.. was perfect for the fun drive.... ok.. well Thursday so almost Friday.. and once I'm done here which is soon I can go finish my day from home. so no complaints really.

Can't do web dev with mad ports blocked, but we got folks in here that still click on the "you need to email me your username and password" emails so shit is somewhat locked-down. Plus, I can wander off online without worrying about my history.

Can't wait for me and The Wiz to jump on this early Saturday morning flight and to land where the Space Needle roams. We gon eat! We gon drank! We gon see our, without question, Ravens play against our favorite NFC team - Seattle Seahawks. Plain and simple, we just gon have a damned good time!
And maybe by the time we get back, I'm no longer feeling exhausted and drained.
