the universe always works itself out in my favor but in both situations I've been extremely stressed so I need to master being at peace no matter what's happening
I got a bit of money from my grandfather's inheritance and I've been being wasteful, I will slow down though
blessed to see my dad turn 70 a few weeks ago, more blessed that he's been there my whole life. our relationship isn't perfect or super strong, but his presence is more than a lot of men my age can lay claim to
2020 (or this year as soon as I can manage it) is all about the gym, eating right and sleeping enough
my condolences. I had 4 since they were pups and had to put them all down over the span of a year an a half or so. Its been 2 years now I kinda want another one. But not sure yet.

They all were dying of cancer. 3 different breeds too. I swear its from drinking our tap water because we live near an oil refinery. (we dont drink our tap) I had my son after the first two so that helped me through the grief. Now Im just trying to judge the right age for him to be before I get another one.

I found a Black Men running club but they run on Mondays but the wife works Monday nights.
since the race ended my job has been kinda boring. Even my boss is missing that energy. We are doing it again next year and will hold it in Charlotte. I’m trying to get 500 people next time and I want an after race event. I’m really trying to make this shit pop.
I found a black male doctor and it feels good. Now we have to find a black dentist.
I’ve been procrastinating on sending a proposal for a side gig. I’m stressed about the numbers. I don’t want to give shit away but I also don’t want to scare them off. It’s my kids daycare tho. Why even stress it? I want hat free daycare.
Gotta use my 5 PTO days before the end of the year and that’s AFTER taking 2 days off for DC in November. I will find a way.

Working my way back to having self-confidence. I wear my feelings on my sleeve, so words mos def hurt me..but I feel the swagger coming back in a good way..now I can get back to being the shit.
Started studying for the job to become certified..learning stuff is hard.
"She" comes back on Saturday and for real...I don't feel the sense of dread that I would have two weeks ago. Not sure how long she's gonna be here before leaving again, but I'm good.
Been getting back up with old friends..the ones "she" hated. I "unfriended" her on FB about a week ago. Told her why I was doing it, and she understood.
Gotta friend coming down today from Charlotte and I'm JACKED! Can't wait to hang with her.
I've been completely stressed out by it, my lone and main source of stress for more than a year.
After all those satellite radio ads kept reminding me with those scammy tax reconciliation services (and a letter from the IRS) I've finally confronted it, and realized it's totally manageable. I should be mostly paid up and filed by November.

i think im finally going to start making payments on my student loans again. i think i did finally get to a position where i can make payments and still buy food so thats good. need to figure out if i will make full payments or get on a payment plan that will be less right now but will increase after a while.

I read a post where someone said they just got on an income plan and let go of the stress. They get what they get but that’s it. I’m not going to starve or be poor as fuck just to pay back some high ass student loans.

ive been on IBR but due to these major life changes i wont qualify for it anymore. in that bad bracket where i now make too much for help but not enough to not need it. at least i have put myself in a better position to deal with it. im going to go with a graduated extended plan which will hit me hard in a few years but will give me a chance to improve my situation more. the hope being i will start paying big chunks once a year and get back to a normal extended in a few years. im going to focus all extra money i do have in the time being to other debt.
at least i got to meet some cool OKPs while i stacked this school debt lol

I had the no-incision joint, where it's basically like an injection, they close it on each side with one stitch.
but on one side it didn't heal closed before the stitch came out, so I just had a hole. this is a thing that can happen. It healed closed just fine, I didn't even have any pain or anything, but it was weird.
also, like a couple months later I went and hooped and a day after I had SERIOUS pain, like day after surgery pain, that lasted for like a week. probably just stuff stretching out.
again, this is "no complications"
it's not really that bad, but I think a lot more guys than you think have small stuff like that.

Mine is a little higher, but I think that's because of the deductible.

its a lot and its overwhelming.
but i am also looking forward for it to end. doing a ph.d. has probably been the worst experience ever (hopkins sucks in every way) but my advisor has been fantastic and my thesis committee chair as well.
mainly looking forward to.. then end of being a student (forever) and finally earning income.
