I was just thinking about this because I was watching season 2 of The Wire where there was the group of white kids calling each other the n word and wearing durags and South Pole. Nick Sobotka calls one of them a wigger. It definitely seemed like snapshot in time.

The word nigger means lack of intelligence; ignorant.

This does not exclude any ethnicity. If anyone is a nigger in the truest sense of the word, it would be white people. White people have continued to me remain ignorant and lack intelligence regarding black people and other ethnicities to this day.

What I am saying is that the nigger as originally intended was NOT meant for a specific ethnicity. That label was put put on black people, but that was not the real meaning. My main point (which is not opinion) is that blacks have allowed this to go on without confronting who the real niggers are. We have accepted whatever people have done to us. I have not trimmed off the rest of the meaning or association. So if I’m not wrong about the definition of the word, then I’m not wrong to whom that term really applies. True meanings change over time, but you will never get me to believe that nigger is solely meant for black people.
