"Mac update issues"

Just updated to the lasted OS and now every file since Sept 18th is gone

Since then, anytime I save a file and my computer crashes.. the file is gone. I just saved 3 or 4 files and luckily I emailed the files off for print and have pdf proofs but if I have to make changes I’m screwed.

I’ve recreated this billboard 5 times in 2 days.

But sync with Dropbox or Google Drive as you work. That way if anything happens to the computer your file is safe in the cloud.

But it was for older Macs and related to tweaking the sys reg. to enable the use of an external video card...
would that apply to you?

and since we are a cyber company we use push notification to verify. We just started that so it may have something to do with it.

I’ll contact Apple and see.

Only reason I updated was because my mail wouldn’t sync with 365 after the push notification was activated.

Try disabling iCloud Drive in System Preferences.. Restart, then re-enable Cloud Drive. Then wait and see if the files start to sync up.. it may take a while.
