Separated, but in the same space..smh.
SHE's been gone for about two weeks (been taking care of her mom in Charlotte), so it's been just me and The Kid...which has been dope. So we'll see how the energy shifts over the next couple of days (SHE is supposed to be going back to Charlotte this weekend)

try to rarely cross active tracks without looking regardless.. that ish is one of those things I get vivid thoughts on... is no good.... trains don't play.. lol they are pretty awesome tho and I do wish I owned one.
i mean all indicators were the coast is clear and it looks like there wasnt a clear view until youre on the tracks. i figure this stuff of failure is common over there so if i was used to it i would have waited. i dont know how much trust to put on commenters on there but someone said it was because the train was so short. the system thought the coast was clear. seems plausible. im going to keep this video in mind if i encounter something similar.

i sometimes consider getting a new one but i would rarely use it. i am thinking about buying some accessories for my phone so i can use dex (connects to hdmi on tv and lets me use the phone as a "desktop"). maybe
getting my replacement beaker for my french press today. monday morning it slipped into the sink and broke. had to go buy some coffee at the gas station lol
before i got the press i used to buy it at this gas station. i honestly dont taste a difference from my home made one. i still add plenty of milk or sugar though. this week has me thinking i should switch to sugar packets so i have more control of how much sugar i use. at home i just pour until im like okay. i guess i could measure.

Had to go back to the drip machine (gotta clean this jawn). The drip takes a long time compared to the press. I dropped the french press glass in the sink while washing it.
We have a new one still in the box, but now I'm used to using the drip again.
ive banged the beaker a few times and i would always get nervous that i broke it but nope. i started boiling some water, put my coffee mug next to the beaker like i always do. as i walk out of the kitchen i hear a loud noise. i thought it was the strainer falling or something. i walk back in and find the beaker in the sink broken.
when i bought it people complained it would break easily but i found it was pretty good. not sure i would expect many glass objects to survive the fall it took.
i dont have an alternate method to make coffee at home so ive just been relying on the gas station. that all changes tomorrow...as long as it doesnt get here broken lol

I woke up a bit before 6am naturally this morning. Messed around drinking coffee, talking to my lady & checking news online and all that extra time disappeared fast. Made it in at 8:45. I'm aiming for 8 so I gotta leave at least 30 minutes earlier (traffic gets worse the later it is).

using milk that expired yesterday is ehhhhh. need to stop by for some milk after work.
got a new sunshade for my car yesterday. went with the blinds type that stays on the windshield and you pull out. installation was super easy. for some reason i thought it would be complicated. hopefully it stays on.

Now the guitar w/ standard tuning doesn't sound as good.
Upper 80s today and I'm already planning out the first snow day we get this year (probably next year tho... heavy snow doesn't start here until late January or early February).
I'm gonna rock one of my dashikis to work tomorrow, probably the purple jawn.
I feel you... when me an my ex split I lived with her for another 6 months and continued to go round end every day to put the kids to bed for probably a year afterwards.
