I know he has a Prince story. I remember hearing how Prince invited him out and brought him on stage but Dallas can't really play like that. Would love to hear how that went down.

Dallas is one of those ATL producers that at one point I thought would be big like Jermaine Dupri, Dallas had his own label Rowdy Records, was putting out some decent material hip-hop & r&b wise but he just kind of disappeared as soon as the Puffy era came around in '97/'98.

We didn't hear from him for almost ten years (when infact he was just doing a ton of writing & studio instrumentation for other artists) and then he finally produced that solo album "8Dayzeaweaken" that wasn't that good and disappeared again.

He had some big songs on that Misunderstood album. And did Cool on "Love Angel Music Baby" I think he's bigger than JD when it comes to actual talent and people he's worked with. He was involved with The Boy is Mine that was huge

Okay I think him and Dupri are about neck and neck. I wouldn't argue with anyone who thought Dupri had a better run
