there have been leaks for a few days about trump wanting to buy greenland. white house press shop denied it. trump makes his handlers look like fools (once again) by coming out and blatantly contradicting them when says he will bring up the sale of greenland in an upcoming trip to denmark but it isnt really a priority. denmark comes out and says no way no how (pretty embarrassing that they even have to address this nonsense). trump immediately calls the entire trip off and cites the prime ministers comments as the sole reason.
now haberman is trying to convince us that super savvy gamesman trump is really using the greenland non-sale as cover fire for some secretive ulterior motive in canceling the trip. not that he would ever throw a tantrum and takes his ball home when he didnt get his way of course.
these are the same folks who really tried to tell us trump was taking serious action on gun control like a week ago.
