A post here was the first I heard of it. I thought it was silliness. "The hell is gamer journalism?", I thought.
Little did I know it was the start of something big.
In my naive opinion, GamerGate showed that social media can be easily weaponized.
And 5 years later, mainstream media is still falling for GamerGate tricks.

even that whole Sandmann shit (MAGA Kids) reminded me of it.

that whole thing is how I first heard of Milo Ploppadopolous; one of my favorite interviews of all time, is him being interviewed by David Pakman and being called out on his transphobia.

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.
