I'd love some instrumentals too... specifically for "Step Into the Realm", and "Nothin' New". I found low quality instrus of "Act Too" and "The Next Movement" some years ago on the innanet, so let's hope that we get those too.

Like I actually kinda recall him specifically noting that, though I also could just be completely making that up hah. But now that we're talking about it it rings a bell so I don't think I am just making it up.

TFA has been reissued before - they could just use the same tapes for that. Many reissues for many bands don't come from the original masters - they have safety copies and other generations around too.
The bonus stuff on here has all been released before, so I suspect they'll use the masters used on the singles or other albums. Where are the real rarities - we know they have a bunch in the can - or at least the stuff on the "CLEAN ALBUM" version of TFA with the different Act Fores.
I'd really like a surround version of the record - but I'll bet the multi tracks are what was lost in the fire.

**** The Clean Album differs from the retail explicit album in many ways. First, the 'curse' words are either reversed or replaced with with sound effects such as horns, beeps, bird calls, sirens, dog barks or buzzers ala the video version of Boogie Down Production's 'Love is Gonna Get 'cha.'. Secondly, many tracks have slightly different musical sections, background vocals and mixes. The tracks may blend into one another in a different manner than on the retail version.
I can discern differences on the following tracks: 0)Act Won on the explicit album has the Rhodes keyboard backward-masked. The version on the clean album has the Rhodes played normally. (Thanks to Questlove for pointing this out.) 1)Table of Contents Pt. 1 and 2: Pt. 1 has a different mix, while Pt. 2 has slightly different backing vocals. 2)The end of 'With out a Doubt' where Questlove sings "Black Thought, Kamal on the keys, Questlove rides shot on the M.I.C" has different music.
I am sure there are many other subtle differences between the two versions of this album.
Also note that the promotional cassette of this album sent to reviewers and major retailers has Jill Scott's version of '68. You Got Me' and includes Erykah Badu's version as a bonus track.
***** Two versions of this track exist. The clean album version is different than the explicit version. The explicit version is :51 seconds long and the clean version is 1:31, and while both are Quest and Scratch messing around, they differ in musical content entirely. They share the same name.

Despite the troubles because of the fires, I’m interesting to see what’s this gonna look like.
I’ll always want instrumentals to “There’s Something Going On” and “What Goes On Pt. 7” from DYWM and “Episodes” and “No Alibi” from IH. Doubt it tho lol
I'm sorry about that, I could've sworn that there was a joke going around that someone called Illadelph Halflife as Indifel Hellfire in a review or something and now it's an insider OKP joke. I can't find it nor remember how/when I heard that

I got a $100 gift card for Amazon and was gonna get this from the site. I just so happened to search for this post again since I didn't see any new posts from y'all. Glad I did because I was about to buy the standard thinking it was the limited one. I didn't look closely enough to the images on Amazon.
What I want to find out though is if both of these come with a digital download link so I don't have to buy this album again on Google Play. I don't own a record player but I really want the Limited collection!!!!

While the lithographs sounded cool, I know that I will likely keep this thing on the shelf more than not as I do with most of my records in 2019.
Essays and liner notes are great. If you’re cut from the same ant farm cloth as I am, you’ll be familiar with some of the anecdotes but still some good stories I hadn’t heard. Haven’t given the actual wax a listen yet (again, 2019), but I will later this week.
Between this and seeing them do the whole album at the Hollywood Bowl a couple weeks ago, nostalgia is at an all-time high and I’m more ready than ever to hear EndGame, particularly because it’s supposed to be more of a nod to their past than their previous albums.

Can you update us on if/how the quality has changed on this reissue? I know the album is supposed to be remastered.
Also, is the Quicksand Millenium on here taken right from Home Grown 2, or is it a different but similar mix, and is the outrolude the same? I was hoping they'd remaster the slightly slower OG mix, but I doubt it.
