Primarily iOS GarageBand. No other daw comes close, in my opinion, for synths, composition tools, etc.
I chop samples in Twisted Wave. This album is about 90% samples.
Synths: Poison, Model D, kq Dixie, Syntronik, and GB of course. The last album was almost all synths. But this time I only used them for added texture.

I might have to give BM3 another shot. GB’s sampler is pretty bare bones.

Yes, I master in GB. There’s a built-in “master” limiter—I think it’s the same one that’s used when you record LOUD videos at concerts. I wondered if it’s something in all Apple-made apps (like even in Voice Memos). It’ll never distort, but it does really pump (which is cool if you’re looking for that Donuts-esque sound). I would like something more transparent though.
