A coworker just now did this. I'll refer to her as "Oregon Trail", or OT, for reasons you'd immediately understand if you saw her. Especially in a unit staff meeting, where she always sits wrapped in a big ass blanket and talks about how "cowde" (cold) it is.

Yesterday, during said meeting, she asks if I know how to get the Yahoo.com to work.

I asked for clarification.

She said her husband can't get to the Yahoo.com on his phone or tablet, and everything goes to India. I said oh, that's crazy, try googling the issue. She said she can't get it to go anywhere but India. I, apparently an idiot, thought I could escape thia by saying I wouldn't really know how to fix the issue without actually having the device, and again recommended a Google search of the issue.

I underestimated her determination to get me, apparently specifically, to fix The Yahoo.com.

She just now shows up at my desk, during a phone call, and sets a laptop, tablet, and phone on my desk and whispers "when you have time can you fix the yahoo?".

I, taken completely by surprise, shake my head and mouth "I dont know if I have time". she just says "it you have time" and leaves.

fuuuuuuck that. Let me open that shit and find out Mr Trail has WTF grade internet history or some shit, or let this shit get scratched, or if something is already broken, or who the fuck knows.

It's probably as simple as changing his location in Yahoo, but I'm not trying to find out. I took that shit to her desk the second I got off the phone.
