"DO IT EXPEDITIOUSLY!"

This movie, more specifically THIS scene had me SHOOK to death at the thought of having to eventually go to High School

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5viyFoSoug

I was like 8 years old when I saw this, legit thought when I went to High School it would be on some Mad Max shit.

As an adult this movie is crazy quotable/ comes across WAY too over the top.

maybe I just went to a different type of high school and the crack era died down by the time i was in high school, but most of the "bad kids" at my school were smoking weed, not that damn ROCK

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

I remember thinking she was so fine and loving her character in everything I saw her in. I don't recall her ever playing a villain... always likable characters.

And yes, the "YA SMOKE CRACK DON'T YA?!?!" scene will forever be classic.

...gangs roaming the halls, students smoking crack...

Only one part kinda stood out to me as being wrong tho... this part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SbkHgx6YIo

Even back then I knew the real knuckleheads weren't going to school... they were out on the block. Sams would've been the only one up there, lol.

Also, what happened to all them kids that got expelled?

You know, the Black Panther of hip-hop?

I think I've told this story on here before, but whatever. Back in 2008 I was interviewing him for a Bay Area mag. Afterwards, we go and do the photo shoot in some abandoned lot. The photographer tells, "You sounds like Morgan Freeman when you talk." And then he yells in response, "EXPEDITIOUSLY!" And continues to do impressions of Freeman as Joe Clark. I completely fucking busted up. And I kept on cracking up just thinking about it during the rest of the shoot, which kept on distracting him.
