It was that "Me Too" karma though i'm sure....

I was coming down a stretch of road in my neighborhood and about 1/4 mile up I spotted Ms Fat Booty© (shout out to Yasin)...walking her pit bull/boxer mix...

I often see her from a distance so I figured i'd cross the street so i'd be on the same side and get a closer look...

Easily I approach...

The dog had stopped to take a shit so the timing was perfect....

No sooner than I get close enough to get a good glance, that bitch ass dog finishes taking a shit and notices ME noticing his owner and I guess decides he wants to spark something...First the mfr starts barking and by this time we're all withing a few feet of each other...i'm on the sidewalk and she's on the grass and the dog is between us...I hear her yell something but I had my ear buds in so I HOPE she wasn't yelling at me...

Next thing I know I got dog paws all on my person and Ms Fat Booty© doing her best to yank the damn dog back using some bitch ass extendable leash! The damn dog easily weighed 90lbs+ and was pulling her damn near to the ground...

I just stopped moving, stood my ground and turned toward him with my arms extended so the mfr wouldn't think it was a game and start chasing me. He kept barking but backed off me and away. Eventually she got him under control and I just bounced....

Closest i've ever come to getting in a fight over looking at someones girl....

1. Where you scared?
2. Why didn't you take advantage of the opportunity to talk to the woman? She may have apologized and you could have seized the moment to have coffee later
3. Did you make eye contact with that dog first? You know dogs don't play that especially if they feel dominant.
4. Where you staring that hard for the dog to be like, "Come on SON, get your look and move one."

>1. Where you scared?
I was shook indeed...but as a previous dog owner, I wasn't terrified or anything. I light weight anticipate dogs being aggressive when I'm out running anyway.

>2. Why didn't you take advantage of the opportunity to talk to
>the woman? She may have apologized and you could have seized
>the moment to have coffee later
lol..nah..she was just part of the scenery for me. I'm a married man that enjoys taking in God's beautiful creations from time to time.

>3. Did you make eye contact with that dog first? You know dogs

>4. Where you staring that hard for the dog to be like, "Come
>on SON, get your look and move one."

I don't recall making eye contact with it... I def. wasn't lingering and gawking like THAT though. I was running at a good clip and only stopped because he intercepted me pretty much.

He was just a typical hatin ass dog.... can't stand them lil fckers....always pissing on your lawn, wanting attention, barking at the dumbest stuff....

I think that the restaurant at the end was a pretty big surprise. It was a huge tribute & I definitely didn't see her making that big of a move.

I can see how that would hit you hard.

My son was talking to his big cousins about how rich Santa must be to buy all the presents for everyone and the little sister girl cousin chimed in with a smirk "you know Santa isn't real". The big cousins chimed in and stifled their laughter and the hurt on my boys face pissed me the off. He was quiet for some time after and had a bunch of questions about Santa afterwards.

Crazy update:

So I was telling the story to so people at lunch yesterday and low and behold this dude who looked just like Santa Claus rolled by. They were drinking so they asked the dude to take a picture with me.

I got the picture. I went home and said I had a pow wow with Santa and Santa told him that he has to change his operation because there are so many kids in the world so he only visits the house of Special children (like them). I didn't think it would fly but they got sooo excited when I showed them the picture.

Anyway, yes I am a cornball. Just want Christmas magic to go a little while longer.

I’ve been doing paper wallets for years
Add that on to the fact that I almost am never without a back pack so I’m not really trying to keep things in my pocket.

a clutch better on bike than a backpack?
I use this for my camera gear when riding sometimes...but it's more bulky than backpack really:

I’m always with a backpack.
And with a clutch I’m thinking of a wallet replacement
Something to hold my cards, cash, and occasional memory card
A wallet goes great with your pockets, but if you always travel with a backpack how often do you use your pockets.

In response to Reply # 21

That’s pretty much the gist of it
I don’t carry cash enough to justify the space in the middle
I can’t really use the side flaps for as many cards as I carry
And a wallet doesn’t hold particulars, so say an sd card or microcard
So I want something small, that zips that isn’t set up to be in my pocket
Hell I could put headphones in it.

You gonna carry your study bible, a note pad, some pens, and chewing gum, a few kleenex, etc... WAAAAY too little to carry a backpack or briefcase...but WAAAY too much to stuff in your pockets and too cumbersome to just clutch in your hands...
therefore...you'd be the perfect candidate for a clutch.

but i feel broke as fuck. check to check is killing my soul. after everyone and everything is taken care of, there is nothing left. not only that, we are short about $300 every week. i already drive uber lyft when i can, and it barely gets us over the hump until payday, but then "the cycle continues" fuck a marathon.

i know my perspective is directed by what I see around me. feels like everyone is comfortable except me. went out to dinner with my wife one night. told her it felt like I had been living underwater and our night out felt like I was coming to the surface for air. my eyes were so big, staring at the details on the wall, trying to savor the taste of the cocktail i ordered. she said i can't let it consume me. it can't/won't be like this forever.

this shit is hell.

but the bills are paid, the kids are in summer camp, gas in the whip, food in the fridge.

gotta boss up, that's the only way.

Anytime there are 5 weeks in a month the daycare bill destroys our budget. Then we have to rob Peter to pay Paul until things balance out.

Thank goodness for summer. We get a chance to stack some cash but the more I crunch the numbers the more I see it’s just getting even and paying for some repairs.

But like you said. The bills are paid. Ain’t much left tho.

I'm ready to see my momma and my dad. It's been too long (almost 2 months).

Looking forward to playing some Prince tunes and drinking too much and sweating and eating Fuel Pizza at 3am.

Planning a trip to Paisley Park next year. My daughter that I hadn't seen in three years (I really, really hate my ex) and I have reconnected. I'd love to bring her along.

entertainment somewhat, i mean i enjoy entertainment but not so much the conversation about it.

if they straight up called them tech, ent & design talks i might have checked them out lol

tech and design is what i went to school for and kind of still want to get into in a serious way. now that i know what it stands for maybe i will check one out.
